He made his debut in the short film “Shor” which was released in the year 2008 and also won the Best Short Film at the MIACC festival in New York. Vijay played the character of Jhunku (Shubodh Roy) in the film Chittagong which was released in 2012. He has also been featured in magazines like Tabloid and Reverie.
His acting skills were recognized after the release of the film “Pink” in 2016. He also acted in various Hindi films such as Manto (2018), Gully Boy (2019) and Bamfaad (2020).
