One of TV’s favourite celebrity couple, actor Gurmeet Choudhary and actress Debina Bonerjee, reported a theft that took place at their home on 3rd June. The couple, along with their two daughters, had recently moved into a new home. According to Gurmeet, they had hired a new domestic help who committed the crime and then fled.
The househelp stole various valuable items. However, Gurmeet was able to track the house help down by making a few calls. The couple was able to recover most of the stolen items. Gurmeet has confirmed that the family and kids are safe. He has also advised fans to always stay alert and make sure to do a thorough background check before hiring someone and letting them into their house. He underlined how crucial security is, particularly for the safety of families.
In his social media post related to the theft, Gurmeet wrote, “Today, a new worker stole some items from our home and ran away. Thankfully, we always verify anyone who comes to work, so we can act quickly. I’m especially grateful I was home, and my babies were safe in their room. With prompt action and a few calls, we recovered most of the items, and most importantly, everyone is safe. Just a bit of bad luck, but a strong reminder: Stay alert. Always verify anyone who enters your home for work.”

Gurmeet Choudhary is an Indian actor whose claim to fame is through TV shows. He is also a martial arts artist. He is well-known for playing Yash Suraj Pratap Scindia in Punar Vivaah-Zindagi Milegi Dobara, Maan Singh Khurana in Geet-Hui Sabse Parayi, and especially Rama in Ramayan. Gurmeet has participated in multiple reality shows as well. On Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5, he emerged as the winner. He was also the 1st runner-up in Nach Baliye 6 paired with his wife Debine Bonnerjee, and Khatron ke Khiladi 5. He made his Bollywood debut with the movie Khamoshiyan, a psychological thriller and horror produced by Fox Studio in 2015.
Debina Bonnerjee is an Indian actress who is best known for her role as Sita in Ramayan, Mayuri Narayan in Sony Sab’s sitcom Chidiya Ghar, and Poulomi in Santoshi Maa. In 2003, Debina debuted on the big screen in the film Indian Babu. Since then, she has been part of multiple movies like Ammayilu Abbayilu in 2003, Perarasu in 200,6, and Khamoshiya in 2015. She competed on the reality series Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 5 and Nach Baliye 6, placing first runner-up and third runner-up, respectively.
Marriage and Kids
Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee first met each other on the sets of their show Ramayan and instantly fell in love with each other. They secretly got married on 15th February, 2011. The couple tied the knot again on 4th October, 2021, and renewed their vows to each other.
Lianna Choudhary, Gurmeet and Debina’s daughter, was born on April 3, 2022, making them proud parents. The couple were again blessed with a daughter on 11th November, 2022, whom they named Divisha Choudhary.
Future Projects
It is reported that both Gurmeet and Debina are set to make a comeback on Colors TV’s new show Pati, Patni aur Panga. If this turns out to be true, the fans are definitely in for a treat.
